A wise man once told me, “consider all your failures and that’s the value proposition you bring to your work.” Take a moment to really think about that…
Maybe it means that, with every failure, we can gain more knowledge. Maybe it means that you’re only as good as your biggest failure. For me, as a leadership and career coach, I help others excel not only in their careers, but in their lives as well, which means considering a whole lot of failures. Including mine.
As an honorable and respectable New Yorker, it’s in my blood to bust people’s chops, be loud, direct, and abrupt. But somewhere along the way, these traits stopped serving me, and in fact, they held me back.
After losing a terrific job I loved, I had to stop placing blame on everyone and everything else and start holding myself accountable.
After a lot of soul searching, studying, and admitting to my mom that she was right all along, I learned how to play the game of life in a more effective and compassionate way. I now use my experience of getting knocked down, brushing myself off, and growing as a human to guide you to avoid the mistakes that hold you back.
With candor, humor, and my New York charm and heart, I’m here to go all-in with you and help you create YOUR values-driven career plan to build a life you’re proud of.

Darren is intensely passionate about coaching mid-career leaders to cut through the BS, do the foundational work, and achieve their greatness. His credible, real-life experience creates exceptional results for his clients.
Darren is a Certified Professional Coach (PCC) and is also certified as a CPCC (Co-Active Professional Coach Certification), CPQC (Certified Positive Intelligence Coach), DiSC certified, and PHR Certified (Professional in Human Resources).
Darren lives with his life partner Rachel her two kids, and his beloved dog Marvin in Denver, Colorado. He is an avid mountain biker and snowboarder and loves adventuring outdoors and seeing live music.
